That was the great thing about crockpots. Basically if you follow Youtubers recipes, it's foolproof. 6 qt into the truck and now I have the 3 qt here too. The user manual is small, but complete, and includes a couple recipes. Since, obviously, I don't use them anymore. The second works fine, but the temperature does not heat evenly. It just has to be at least half full to cook correctly, I believe.

-It is a nice handy size, not too big and bulky and not too small. But the price is right and, so far, I'm very happy with my purchase. Three new preset buttons- cake, egg, sterilize. -Perfect for making a small meal for two or larger meals for a family of five. And you'll have to do that with any slow cooker. I vow never again to visit that webiste--it is just not worth the hassle. So exciting, because I don't have an oven. My problem is that I always forget to take food out of the freezer to thaw. 6 qt into the truck and now I have the 3 qt here too. I have an old Crock-Pot and it still works, but is too small for a roast, etc. Because this cooks so quickly, it is very easy on my solar system. Works fine, but now, with this one, i have the best of both worlds. - Twenty minutes as the Instant Pot got up to cooking pressure. It is also more aesthetically pleasing, if that matters at all. 6 qt into the truck and now I have the 3 qt here too. Buy from Amazon, pay a few dollars more, get superb service if something goes wrong.

Over the weekend I made chili and mac and cheese. Say whatever you want about the instant pot and my reply is who wants instant food! I'll make sure to update this review in a few months. Let me be honest, If I can use it and make great meals, anyone can. Buy from Amazon, pay a few dollars more, get superb service if something goes wrong. And you'll have to do that with any slow cooker. My old Crock-Pot is at least 15 years old and that's why I chose this brand.

"I couldn't believe it."
I've used it more than a handful of times already, and haven't had any issues. Of course a good-cooking- level would be between 7 and 8 quarts. It just has to be at least half full to cook correctly, I believe. Easy to clean, durable, and easy to use. I mean, I'm all for electronic gadgets in the kitchen. I had never really used a crockpot before and it was super easy to set up and use. When we have company to dinner, I use the 6 qt.

However, I ended up dragging it home and using it there. I had read they were dishwasher safe, but not 100% as they might keep flavors. That explains why it was so danged delicious! I really like the removable, dishwasher-safe stoneware insert. And you'll have to do that with any slow cooker. My daughter prepared a casserole one night before going to bed. I'm used to cook once a week for 5 days, you call it meal prep.

That explains why it was so danged delicious! I'll be the first to admit that I didn't count on the sheer size of the thing. It also does not have all the features that this one has. Replaced one we'd had for many years. It's a perfect size for just the wife and myself. It WOULD if we locked it while cooking, but that's a no-no. The stoneware liner is easy to clean and food is NOT sticking to the sides or bottom.

I would buy this exact same Crock-Pot again, it works great. You can also put the stoneware and the glass lid in the dishwasher. Similar style, but now with locking lid. I've been using the 6 qt IP, but always had way too much food left over. Remember, ALL slow cookers get HOT on the outside as does this one. But that would have taken like 10 hours! This gives me enough for 4 or 5 servings. This is so easy to use, and it's the perfect size for one or two people. And there's just a single pot to scrub at the end! Supposedly, the glass lid is also dishwasher safe but I just wash it by hand.

Warmer feature is super and it does not appear to be too hot. Should things change, I most definitely will update. However, I ended up dragging it home and using it there. I looked at this item for a long time before I finally decided to buy it. Or use it to cook something separately. It gets substantially hotter on one lower end than the other. Just don't lock the lid while you're cooking!

So I did my research and bought it, DUO nova. You can also put the stoneware and the glass lid in the dishwasher. But that would have taken like 10 hours! Supposedly, the glass lid is also dishwasher safe but I just wash it by hand. I don't know if that's a glitch or the way it is designed. I'll leave the visualization to you. Then just throw it back in the pantry until next time.

This gives me enough for 4 or 5 servings. The salmon was perfect and so yummy! However, I ended up dragging it home and using it there. Great to make soups as 3 qts is enough for the day w pleanty of leftovers. A few questions right out of the box that we are still waiting on. But that would have taken like 10 hours! I am effectively cooking for two now--with manageable left-overs.
